WHO ARE THESE BOZOS?

Gregry and John met in of all places at Marching Band Band Camp as teens in the mid 80’s and they have been best friends ever since.

Although fortunately (or UNfortunately depending how you look at it) nobody had a flute shoved up their orifice that week, but it began a life long friendship where they would hang out together, drink cheap beers underage, get into shenanigans and one of the things that they both enjoyed the most was turning themselves onto different things that they were currently into at the time.

“If one of us discovered something whether it was a new band, television show or some F#$3ked up movie they saw/rented I remember being so excited to share this new discovery with my best friend and so did he. If it wasn’t for JohnAlex, I never would of discovered bands like The Cure, Dead Kennedys, Sublime, The Descendents or even shows like Twin Peaks, Reanimator and so many other “pop culture” things that made me into the person I am today!”

But as the years and decades went on, although they still were close, things such as marriages, kids, mortgages, jobs, and other factors that kept them from seeing each other as much as they wanted to.

Cut to the beginning of 2021, things changed dramatically for Gregry and as he always did throughout their friendship, it was JohnAlex and his bright idea that came to his rescue.

“The past few years before this, I was dealing with a ton of changes. I was diagnosed with severe anxiety/depression in 2017, I had gotten sober the following year and then after 16 years I had divorced my wife and moved back to Mahopac. Although it was a new beginning, being alone in a small apartment, not seeing my daughters and the stress of going through a divorce, started to put me into a serious depression. I remember many times pulling into the driveway, shutting the garage door and thinking, hey, maybe I should keep the car running in here it got THAT BAD”

It was after a few months of being “back in the PAC” that John brought up the idea to Greg of starting a weekly podcast as almost an excuse for the two of them to get together, get on a mic, keep in touch with each other and as always, have a few laughs.

With OVER 100+ episodes now “in the can” as they say, John and Greg are having the time of their lives keeping their friendship alive while hoping to entertain the masses with their non censored brand of humor!
